Variable Control transforms the PVC pipe refugia used to monitor tree frogs into sculptural studies of color, perception, and the ways art and science interpret the natural world. Support for these works helps sustain continued research and conservation efforts focused on frogs and longleaf pine ecosystems across the southeastern United States.
