Relationships Am I Right explores philosophical and scientific discourses about objects (Object Oriented Ontologies, New Materialism, and particle physics) through assemblages of found materials, including failed experiments from the studio, that act as gestural annotations. The garbage bags, pedestals, pedestrian causeway, language, and frames are apparatuses that draw attention to the co-construction of meaning and encounter through the playful theater of the art experience. Humor, color, texture, and curiosity sit within signs of waste, material extraction, and conceptual opacity.
